These indigo textiles are hand-woven and hand-dyed by the Dogon tribe of Mali, West Africa. They are traditionally used as special occasion shawls, treasured and carefully washed for many years. Our selection of textiles is around 30-40 years old.
Indigo ages beautifully and the cloth has a lovely soft feel to it.
