Mudcloth textiles are hand-woven and hand-dyed in Mali, West Africa. The elaborate geometric patterns are carefully applied by hand to a new piece of fabric which later is repeatedly dyed with organic dyes to achieve the rich earthy colours mudcloth is known and admired for.
